Community Art Exchange Box
There's something new at the LCAA! We've launched a new Community Art Exchange Box program. Even when the LCAA Gallery is not open, you can experience this creative initiative. The Art Exchange Box is a community-driven project designed to foster creativity and connection by providing free access to small format art, and art materials for all ages. Similar to a "little free library," this box can include artwork, paints, brushes, paper, and other supplies for anyone to take, use, or contribute. Located just outside the LCAA Gallery, the Community Art Exchange Box aims to break down barriers to art by making it available to everyone at any time. Those interested in supporting the program by donating art supplies or sponsoring the box are encouraged to contact Lake City Area Arts at lakecityareaarts@gmail.com.
